post (MoMA)

Information

post, at the Museum of Modern Art, was originally launched in 2013 as an online hybrid of an archive, publication platform, and participatory network. post is the website of the Contemporary and Modern Art Perspectives (C-MAP) project, "a cross-departmental, internal research program at MoMA that fosters the multiyear study of art histories outside North America and Western Europe." post underwent significant changes in 2020, resulting in a streamlined version that showcases only essays arranged by region and themes. In contrast, the initial version I developed with the C-MAP team included many content types, diverse organizational methods, an intricate system for connecting MoMA works, and a social networking component. Here are some representative examples of the original site, or you can visit the previous version(s) via the Wayback Machine.

post was initially conceptualized between me and the C-MAP team and then designed and developed by TC Labs (me, Adam Florin, and Seth Erickson).
